We petition Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council to adopt a minimum distance policy from people's homes to wind turbine.
With increasing experience with this virgin technology, significant health issues are emerging which are not anticipated from the current outdated guidelines. Siting wind turbines too close to homes is a health hazard.
The suggested set back distance by various authorities for an 88 meter tall turbine is 1.5 kilometers
