Home to Largest LGBTQ Community, Help Georgia Pass Domestic Violence Protection Policy
With one of the largest LGBT communities in the U.S, Georgia has been reluctant to legally recognize same sex marriage. This delay has led to thousands of LGBT members being unequally represented in many areas, including the epidemic of domestic violence. That means over 21,000 same sex couples do not have legal protection against their significant other; this has lead to a major community feeling helpless and most of all unsupported by their own government. Do you believe everyone should have equal rights, regardless of sexual orientation? Sign the petition for an intimate-partner violence protection policy! Show Georgia's legislation that you support equal rights, as well as a policy that will save lives.
