The reach of this petition has shifted our position from a niche effort to a significant public stance. I am currently drafting a formal letter for distribution to major network sponsors to highlight the growing rejection of their platform. Updates regarding their responses will follow once those communications are finalized.

Hollywood "celebrities always tell us what we should think and believe, and how we should live our lives. How would they like it if we told them how they should act and what movies to make and how to make them?
Boycott because they aren't entertainment anymore. I watch them because they act and it's supposed to be entertainment. I don't like politics shoved down my throat while I am trying to be entertained. My dollars will stay in my pocket and won't be watching any award shows where the rich are patting themselves on the back while they live in their secure and gated mansions...
We give Hollywood and their stars money by going to see their movies, and then they turn around and lecture us about politics, as if we are not adult enough to make up our own minds. Keep Entertainment as entertainment, and keep political preaching at Award shows out of it.
It is really a shame that people spend time and money on the academy awards and leave our military and vets out of everything. It is really sad to see this happening in our country.
The revoked nomination of Bruce Broughton's song Alone Yet Alone song is scandalous. A high powered production company manipulated the Academy board into making a vindictive act on their behalf. I smell a rat and it smells just like anti- Christian bigotry. The Academy Award let The Hurt Locker get away with murder. Yet the punish a little Christian film with the death penalty. I have watched my last Academy Awards show. I am willing to help call for an outside investigation of the board. I am also willing to help fund a lawsuit.
I am tired of all of the anti-American support from Hollywood.
I don't care about their opinion. What do they know about anything?

These spoiled bratty narcissists should learn their place: court jesters, nothing more or less. If they wish to get involved in politics, do what President Donald J Trump or Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger did and they gave up their careers to serve the people.
