The more investment into the UK Tourism market the better. This is a great Hotel, and with this investment will be a landmark destination.

We most definitely need to create opportunities in North Devon for people to have rewarding and interesting careers.

I fully support this - this will not only provide jobs for local people but will keep this amazing venue going. We so need this type of place in North Devon!!

Wish you all the very best with your plans. As a resident of chittlehamholt I can't think of anything better for the village and am excited to see it develop. All the very best.

Think it's great but do feel the leisure facilities needs to go back to just being for patrons and local people, ie no Swimschool in their taking away free swimming time, frustrating you can't go with the kids!

It's a bit shortsighted. So many villages are losing basic amenities like local shops and bus routes, you would think that the residents would welcome an expansion as a way of ensuring that the village stays alive and kicking. We passed so many villages on the canal boat earlier this year where the local shop has shut and you have to get a bus to get even the basics like stamps and milk that I would have said a development like this would be inconvenient in many ways, but a lifeline to a small community enabling them to continue their way of life and local amenities for the foreseeable future. But, hey, that's just my opinion - what do I know?

I do understand the concerns of the local residents, however, feel this development will significantly benefit North Devon. I think we all need to bare in mind that Devon is the lowest paid county in the country and this will hopefully help to push up wages and reduce unemployment all year round.
