Its unfortunate that the association has acted in a shroud of secrecy. The by-laws and charter of the non-profit must be respected and acted upon in the manner in which it is intended. This organization has the power to be a direct benefit to our alma mater! We have not collectively utilized that power to our benefit.

It is very disappointing to realize that the history of excellence ,and honor and responsibility. is being disrespected .This situation needs to be corrected as soon as possible.I am a 1964 graduate. We are presently planning a fantastic 50 reunion.We are full of pride

Fix this issue. It's disheartening to see Western not represented appropriately. Be proud of your heritage and the legacy you must protect! Class of 1970!
The petition is for an election. The election Is supposed to happen every 2 years. There has not been one since 2010. Things were in motion to have one this year and it was canceled without any input from the exec board.
I recently joined WHSAA and I believe that this is my second year of paying dues. It would be nice to hear better late than never! Once I found out about my class (84')events I started to participate. Like I told some of my class technology is much better now for us to communicate with the increase of social media. I plan to participate in everything that I possibly can this year. Western is not what it used to be.

The current officiers have worked all these years to keep the association in existence with very little support from Alumnae. It's sad to see more Alum jump on this petition with only one side of the story but only 10 supported the last fundraiser for scholarships. I would like to charge Alumnae to actively participate and see for yourself how the organization is run. I'm wondering if use of my email address is in violation of these bylaws that are being spoken to but not viewed by many. I believe this could've been handled better.
