The economic benefit from this occasion should be capitalised upon by guaranteeing that the North of Scotland has as clear a view of the eclipse as possible. There are literally TENS of people travelling to the North of Scotland in order to catch a glimpse of this spectacle.

The educational benefits from this event are tremendous. We believe that the government have been remiss in not praying to the solar deities to allow us to hold this event sooner and allowing people of my generation to gain a better upstanding of this phenomenon.

We believe that the government have maliciously planned to hold this event on a overcast day in order to limit the amount of disruption caused to business and therefore generate more tax revenue.
