I 100% agree with this petition. R2P is a great company that changed a lot in my life during my time with the company. But they should still be held accountable for their actions, and for what goes on within the company.

I have participated in and loved the work that R2P has done for seven years. As my time with the company comes to a close, I reach out with my whole heart to all the members of leadership to say, without animosity, that we can do better. R2P has provided a safe space for growth and empowerment for myself and many others, but the work of the company is meaningless if it is not made accessible and safe for everyone - like R2P claims to do. Theater is a world where role playing can reveal honest and hard to swallow truths about the world, and this company should live up to that ideal by accepting hard to swallow truths about our organization, and with them growing and adapting according to the demands laid out herein by students themselves.
To those students who are our leaders of this movement for accountability: I thank you, I admire you, and I stand here with you.

I believe this is something that everyone should understand the importance of and prove that they support by believing the people put in positions of powerlessness or potential danger. The adults in this community need to take responsibility for and action against situations like this if they want to continue having positions of leadership over young influencial people who look up to and respect them.
