There needs to be an entire overhaul of children's "services" for protection and prosecution. Every school should have a school counsellor ( I previously included this in letters to MLA's) funded by the CIG as kids can talk with this trained professional about home issues all the time. Kids spend so much time at school that this is their "part-time home" just like jobs for adults.
