Hold Pioneer School District Leadership Accountable and Protect Our Children from Bullying

We, the undersigned parents, students, educators, and community members of the Pioneer Central School District, are calling for immediate action regarding the ongoing bullying issues affecting our children—and the unacceptable lack of response from district leadership.
Far too many families have shared similar stories: children targeted by their peers, emotionally and psychologically harmed, only to be ignored or dismissed when they seek help. In many cases, it is only after a child breaks under pressure that any attention is given—if at all. This is not acceptable.
We believe every student deserves a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment. Unfortunately, Pioneer’s current leadership has not upheld this responsibility.
We demand:
1. Leadership Accountability — Those in leadership roles who fail to protect our children or respond adequately to bullying incidents must be held accountable.
2. Transparent Reporting — The district must publicly acknowledge the extent of the bullying problem and commit to transparent, consistent documentation and follow-up.
3. Stronger Anti-Bullying Measures — Implement clear, effective, and well-communicated policies that include restorative practices, staff training, and student support.
4. Community Involvement — Parents and families deserve a seat at the table. There must be a way for community voices to be heard and respected.
We will not stand by while our children suffer. It’s time for the Pioneer Central School District to prioritize student safety over reputation, and real action over empty promises.
Let this be the moment we stand together and demand the change our children deserve.
