The thought that these people work at a place that includes "anti cruelty" in their name sickens me. That local government would not prosecute is just as disgusting. Proven time and again is the fact that these animals feel and emote. That this poor dog suffered at their hands is beyond cruel when they work somewhere toting the name "anti cruelty". You have but to listen to the recording to know these people should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. No wonder no one wants to live in Detroit and no wonder cruelty is rampant with government officials like these.

A person can't take anotger persons property it is against the law. The dog was given to tge lady and the Anti-curlity had no right to take that dog. What is one dog they kill hundreds of dogs everyone should know what they do.

I watched this video right after it happened. I was appalled and disgusted it happened. The right action needs to be taken immediately.

The owner fully surrendered the dog to the woman from the rescue who did not lie, the shelter IS a kill shelter but in this case to cover themselves they kept the dog alive. The woman gave her rescue and contact information. She made no attempt to lie or hide from the owner. If the shelter was SOOO concerned for the dog why was it left without medical care when there are dozens upon dozens of rescue groups that would have funded it's care. This was gross criminal behavior and if they are not being charged the rest of the city is in on it and are all scummy.

Not enough evidence !! Are you BLIND ?? There is a video of the entire assault !! This abuse against animals has to STOP !! These animals protect our most prized possessions, sniff out cancer, watch over and help "humans" whom have certain disabilities , Fight on the front lines in war zones assisting soldiers so they won't step on landmines !! AND SO ON AND SO ON !! The absolute LEAST we could do is stand up for them !! Come on let's be a little fair here !! They give their lives for humans taking bullets and we can't even help in protecting them !! This is soooo BACKWARDS and UNFAIR !!
