I've had personal dealings with MACS and can attest to the fact it's a place no dog or cat should ever wind up at. It's an automatic death sentence with virtually little to no chance of adoption. It's a hell hole that needs be held accountable and shut down.

This is the worst shelter in Michigan. Please do not ignore the plight of Detroit and surrounding city's residents, and those out our pets, and innocent dumped animals. These people need to be held accountable. The protesters need to be heard.

This is reprehensible & must stop now! There are rescues and individuals who are willing to help find homes for these animals but the “shelter” simply euthanizes them, especially certain breeds. This is heartless and those who run this shelter should be charged with animal cruelty!

this rescue has gone out of its way to prevent protesters from giving these animals good homes and then killing some of them, unreal, 20 percent adoption rate speaks for itself

This is ridiculous, day after day we hear and see horror stories about "MACS". Where are the laws to make this place either follow the rules or get shut down once and for all. What does it take?? These animals (especially pit bulls) go in and are never put up for adoption, they are simply killed, whether they are someone's pet, it's DEATH ROW.. This women is EVIL.. shut them down.
