Hold LIAT Accountable

I propose that the aviation authorities and transport ministries in the countries 'served' by LIAT take them to task over the debacle and implement thresholds with associated penalties. As has been seen repeatedly in the news, LIAT's flight services (and customer service) has reached new lows with thousands of passengers experiencing delays, little or no information available to both travelers and their families. They have even left children in their care in the wrong country (http://www.thedailyherald.com/index.php/islands/1-islands-news/41065-8-year-old-left-at-airport-in-apparent-liat-error-.html) Example thresholds: every time they lose a child, lose more than 10 pieces of luggage per flight or have more than half their flights delayed in a 24 hour period. These may sound generous thresholds but in my recent experience of LIAT avoiding these would be huge improvement.
