This is a petition to support holding an election for 207EA President in 2023 as required by our bylaws which states that the term of the President is two years.
207EA President Julia Heyden was elected in 2021 to a two year term. Her term is up. Our bylaws do not allow the Representative Council to vote to increase their own terms of office.
The right of members to voice their views by choosing their union officers or running for election themselves is fundamental. Sign this petition to voice your view that we must hold an election for 207EA president in 2023.
