The lack of parking in town is ridiculous. You can not have half of the parking spots "unavailable" due to "temporary" no parking restrictions and enforce alternate side of the street parking. I have written to the Mayor's office and the head of the Parking Authority complaining about this problem but no one had the courtesy to reply to my email

stop thinking of parking in Hoboken as a business and start thinking of the businesses and the residents that need ample affordable parking.

Parking in Hoboken has caused me some unbelievable amounts of stress and anxiety. No parking signs being posted in the middle of the night for the following morning is criminal. I've had my car towed with no sign posted by it and no warning.

Agree about adding that residents should be allowed to park at meters for a certain amount of time. I actually stopped going to breakfast at Turning Point as I drove there from the other end of town, but now they have meters everywhere and no where to park. I hear Zimmer is going to go CRAZY on adding meters on most blocks. Very frustrating for us residents. ALSO, VERY much agree about calling residents before towing. Last year, I had my car parked on 4th street and a surprise snow storm came upon us and while I was at work, actually rushed home since I was in a spot that said "No parking if covered in snow" By the time I got home, I was towed and had to pay fines of over $350 between ticket and tow bill. So angry. Also, since terrible kids take away the TEMP NO PARKING signs, it has happened more than once where I have had to come back from the city for work because I was parked in a temp no parking spot when there were no signs there. Luckily they remembered to call me, but I am sure many others aren't that lucky. It's an automated recording system, so really shouldn't take up any staff or payroll time to call EVERYONE. Thank you so much for organizing this!

We need to bring back the days where you had to pay towing fees in cash. Don't ask why.

Great start, we have a lot of work to do, reversing many of these senseless initiatives the council majority has passed. Thank you, input from the residents is invaluable.

Parking is the worst I spend hours waiting and what drives me nuts is that my license is mine with my address the car is under my grandparents name and I have to park as a Visitor So it takes twice as long to park and I see people with Florida plates and they have a resident sticker

I also think you should add a section about the "parking meters". I needed only 15 minutes the other day but you cannot buy 15min/25 cents. You have to buy at least 50 cents which is just not fair.
