Ridiculous . How can you send children and baby to camp for 21 days? Have you consider their mental health? I think jail is even bigger and better than that quarantine camp. That camp is as small as a shoe box!

Most modern residential complexes are equipped with CCTV better then most quarantine hotel. With tracker bracelet and gov staff to monitor at the building it would be more secure and cost effective to have home quarantine rather than moving whole building to gov QC facility.
Also the policy makers and COVID experts should live at QC center for 21 days or for the pandemic with their families so they understand the requirements at the facility

It’s humanity issues . Home quarantine should be allowed , esp wz kids / pets/ elderlies at home. The environment n hygiene at home is far better than that as in those ‘camp’! Sending kids to quarantine 21days is damn inhumane n irresponsible

This policy is preventing the vaccination drive taking effect in HK, is causing unnecessary stress & anxiety & the number of positive cases found does not justify the means. Home quarantine (if at all necessary) -have some humanity please

Please allow home quarantine, it's not reasonable to put young children, babies and elderlies in prison like camps.

Due to my husbands poor health and mental state I fear that moving him from our home will be a major setback and could result in depression or even death. Geoff has been hospitalised for four months and home just ten days. The government propose that we both must go to Queen Mary for 21 days. This is major in the life of a stroke victim. Shame on you Hong Kong. This is a humanity issue. Tag us and lock our doors but at HOME. I am vaccinated and Geoff is VERY vulnerable. Spending 3 more weeks in the hospital is going to kill him. The Health officer said not to worry there are doctors there!

This blanket quarantine approach needs a drastic and urgent review. It does not make sense. If a whole buildings occupants do really need quarantining then quarantine that build not move the occupants to a prison like accommodation.

For families with small children and elderlies too! They can stay home and security guards and police ensuring they complete their quarantine period!

Government should really consider about human right once again. Being at a place without fresh air is worse than prison. If you can't control the virus- don't try to control its citizen in a nonsense way.

Not only gone quarantine only quarantine true close contacts and exempt those people who are fully vaccinated from quarantine entirely. The science proves that the vaccines work!

While people understand the need to be careful, the HK government is once again turning reasonable people to uncooperative individuals by imposing insane arbitrary detention when there are obviously more humane methods with little extra risk/cost. C'mon guys... think a little beyond your instinct of lock everyone up and get people to work with you. Or your 'together we fight the virus' is just a joke.

I believe a practical and more humane approach is required. I don’t see otherwise any desire to be vaccinated or take tests.

I am a HK PR and resident for 20 years.
Brand HK is it it’s lowest in 20 years and because of Gov draconian quarantine policy. Stop. Be reasonable. Be human. Protect HK as an International City of Choice!!!

Absolutely agree with this petition. Also we need to take into consideration those who have had the vaccine jab. Perhaps less quarantine for those who are fully vaccinated and past 14 days post the second jab.

Wherever possible home quarantine would be a much better option. HK Government, please have some belief that HK people are as determined as you are that HK is Covid free again as soon as possible.

It makes no sense to move people out of modern, relatively spacious accommodation and pack the together in a series of tiny rooms
