Agree completely. An absurd policy being implemented which is in urgent need of review

This would seem a practical and effective quarantine solution

If you want people to take the vaccination make it interesting for them to do so. Vaccinated people should be able to do home quarantine. Everybody is scared of going into quarantine centers especially children.

It’s barbaric to send whole blocks of families to prison ( sorry quarantine camp ) . How do you expect the vaccinated numbers to increase if you adopt these types of measures … !!???

Another critical difference b/t HK & China. HK has sufficient vaccines, China doesn’t. If China can vaccinate entire population, will do so & be more flexible in lockdowns. Carrie misses this crucial difference.

We have the technology to ensure people stay home. We can impose large fine to ensure that do not take visitors. No one will be willing to go back to their offices until quarantining rules are relaxed.

It’s inhumane and an abuse of human rights to imprison individuals without cause... and there is no cause when people have tested as negative. Think of the long term impact your policies are having on HK’s international reputation. You are encouraging people to view HK as an authoritarian state and encouraging people to look for alternatives. A concerned resident of 25+ years whose son was born and raised here, is Oxford educated and at 23 years of age has decided his future is not in HK.

illogical detention ignoring the established science arbitrary because while residents were quarantined the T11 workers were not. I would like an explanation

Sending entire buildings then questions the value of getting your vaccine. Home quarantine wearing trackers is much more fair and mentally acceptable.
