This is the minimum though I would say home quarantine with tests for 10 days at most. If there is no close contact as defined by the medical experts (outside HK) of 15mins unmasked why is there even quarantine!

The adhoc decisions made by people sitting behind desks and clearly separated from reality is causing some real issues among families and communities! We’re on the same side as those who want to irradicate this virus, but please be practical! The government are causing too much unnecessary distress!!! THINK! PLAN! DISCUSS! EXECUTE! Stop playing with our sanity!!!!

Other Building member can do Home quarantine. Government can seal whole building but please allow them to do home quarantine.

Totally unnecessary to quarantine at a facility. Home quarantine and testing is sufficient. Forcing people into quarantine is a waste of resources, and a mental health disaster.

Totally support. What's the point of vaccines otherwise? The government must show that it trusts the efficacy of the vaccines provided to the public!

Hk govt is just being lazy and stupid. Even China allowed home quarantine when there were community cases, but they implemented strict control and put guards at the entrances and exits of the resi communities. hK govt, instead of sending a plethora of police to click tickets on parking and benefit financially, they should be sent to guard those buildings for 21 days to serve the people and community properly!

If the buildings in question can be closely surveyed and food deliveries etc. closely monitored as during hotel quarantines, home quanratines could save a great amount of time, money and reduce stress to all residents concerned. What happens to the pets??

It makes sense at this point in the pandemic.

Experts decisions are not only irrational but lack human intelligence. Time to retire experts and let the business leaders lead and politicians lead us through this crisis. Experts can ease back into their desk jobs and provide their insights when asked, not recommendations or decisions but insights only.

Absolutely agree to being able to be home quarantined. It will save resources and reduce stress for all parties involved

Besides, anyone who have been vaccinated 2nd dose should be exempted from quarantine.

Disgraceful way to treat people in our community. Shameful.

The Government is making totally rigid and ridiculous decisions. What’s the use of taking the vaccine when it’s ALL stick and no carrots??? The latest relaxation of the F&B rules could only have come from the civil service which is trapped in its own bubble

Home quarantine would be very logical and save resources, and be less stressful for people and pets.
