HK Govt has to allow Home Quarantine - be prudent, logical and save resources

Compulsory quarantine at QC is almost like getting prison sentence for three weeks. Home quarantine should be provided, especially when a building is totally capable to be isolated.
Also Compulsory quarantine of 21 days for Vaccinated is injustice! and total discouragement towards vaccination.

3 weeks incarceration for anyone who has been fully vaccinated is ridiculous
14 days home quarantine should be allowed
There is probably more risk of cross infection on the way to incarceration
This Covid virus should be treated like a bad flu ! It’s here to be with us every year & if vaccinated one should be treated as immune. Even if you contract it you are not going to die!

We understand the need to keep safe the community for the possible close contacts, but please allow home quarantine so residents will be in a better environment. This isolation at Pennys bay QC is very bad to our mental health and also causing so much money taxpayers.

I appreciate that the HK authorities are trying to do their best. However, this is beyond overkill, and it does not reflect well. As a taxpayer and long-term resident I urge those in charge to wind this back and come up with a better, more humane solution.

There is not even a law existing which allows the HK Gov to send a whole building to Penny Bay, since not even 5% of the residents will meet the HK Gov definition of a close contact. HK is just violating there own law and basic human rights with this practice.

The reliance on the “chimney effect” for the excuse to take to quarantine is ridiculous. They used to lock people in Fo Tan which is a regular hk housing estate with the same type of construction found across hk. Letting people quarantine at home particularly if they are vaccinated is the only way people in hk will get vaccinated.
