Sex and drug use are a growing concern and most students who are impressionable are affected. Studies show middle school student are experimenting with sex and drugs. It is important they understand what HIV is and how it can be transmitted.Teaching HIV in the middle school along with substance abuse can help student identify with the risk factors of HIV.
