I went to take a look at the bar. It could use a new floor and new paint. But it is already very charming with the arches and the barrel ceilings. I would like more information on this project before it continues. $250k seems like a lot to spend on this bar.

Moving a bar with a view to a corner without a view to make more money is the most naive idea I have ever heard.

I think the bar area is perfect the way it is.

Would like to know what the real cost will be and if any other projects are bundled into this. So far adding new carpet before major construction seems irresponsible.

This project also seems rushed, as it is moving forward before the new club manager is in place. The new manager should also address the quality of the food, which is limiting the use of the bar and dining facilities.

This is one of the dumbest projects I have ever seen while at Coveleigh. It is a bad design and a monumental waste of money and it was not presented to the entire membership for comments. This should be put on hold and there should be a meeting for the membership to solicit comments and feedback.

Just want to understand the rationale for the timing and financials of the project before work commences.
