The sheer volume of inaccuracies in this outrageous assualt on private property rights is enough to warrant a city wide vote of confidence in the city leadership.

This is an extensive overreach of the government into people's choices for their houses. Worse, it is an administrative nightmare for any homeowner who wants to make very reasonable changes in his/her house, even without much impact on the appearance. I am very concerned about this!

Absolutely NO such revised "demolition" ordinance should be passed. The language is ambiguous and uncertain and can be applied to each and every kind of renovation that any owner of building 75 years old or older may want to do.

We think it is a mistake to restrict home improvements based on an arbitrary designation of "Historic". This is giving power to the Historic Commission that should be reserved for the Zoning Board.
