Sitting on the front porch, walking with my family to the local store for ice cream, playing baseball in the park, watching the original "Jungle Book" at the Linda Theater, actually knowing the names of your neighbors; beautiful memories woven into my childhood!

Our home turns 100 years old this month. Would be nice to start saving some of the nicer homes in the area.

Keeping all of our historical neighborhoods preserved is important for Akron. We want to keep working families in these neighborhoods. It's important to make affordable good housing available to all residents.

Although I no longer live in Ohio Goodyear Heights has many happy memories for me. Historic Goodyear Heights needs the designation.

Our house is 99 years young and part of the original development down by the research center. It's a grand ole house and we love it!
