We, the members of Indaba music are petitioning to have our beloved friend,Mantis Evar work at Splice, which purchased Indaba. He has always been a motivating factor of why we stayed with Indaba music and has been an inspiration to many.WE WANT MANTIS AT SPLICE IN SOME CAPACITY!!!

The volume of support has signaled to the leadership team that this transition requires a formal review. I am currently preparing a briefing document for human resources to discuss potential roles for Mantis within the new company structure.

If it weren't for Mantis and his warm, caring personality, many of us would have never shared, collaborated, or created some of our best works over the last few years. He nurtured many of us through Indaba Music. He spent time with us chatting in the Listening Party on the site. I've had the privilege of meeting this amazing man when i visited the Indaba Office in New York City. He is a great bass player too. I can assuredly say that my life is richer for knowing him. Thank you Mantis, my friend.
We want Mantis Evar who has been the absolute main source of inspiration to a network of over 1.5 million musicians, producers, DJs etc worldwide to do what we've done for years now be a part of Splice, and not just in some small obsolete capacity! Finding out that he is not a part of this was such a disappointment to me personally! I cannot in good conscience be a part of an organization that does not include the main catalyst of what made this fine organization (Indaba) such an "Outstanding Brand". Wherever Mantis goes, I go! Bring him on or count me out!! Thanks for listening!

While Indaba had many staff, Mantis was the only one who gave Indaba an actual face. Mantis was a key element of Indaba's succes. He was the one that made the connection between the company and its users. Without such a person, any website will remain an abstract entity. It was always a joy when Mantis logged in, and he always managed keeping a personal ambience in the fora and chat room. People at Splice should realise how important such a role is. Therefore I sign this petition, to support him and his future endeavours. For his personality and professionalism may play a big role in the future succes of Splice. With love, PANTA
