Target: Administration of Tishomingo County High School and Tishomingo County School Board District

We, the undersigned, believe that Coach Jerry Long should have the Head Coaching position for fastpitch softball. Although it has been said, Mr. Bealswill have the decision of who to hire for the position, the recommendation from him is not final until the school board votes.

Coach Long is a seasoned coach who has the leadership and ability to carry the Lady Braves to future success in their seasons. His strong vision, knowledge, and ability can help lead the team to future state championships. Coach Long not only has great coaching records and stats, he possesses the genuine ability to make every player feel as they are an important part of the team and helps them all to develop and fine tune the skills they need on the field as well as in life. He is a great mentor and coach.

His current win record in slowpitch softball at Tishomingo County is approaching to 500 wins and nearly 1200 in both sports. This past season while coaching baseball at Cherokee High School, he was able to lead them to the playoffs in one season. He was also able to do the same with the Cherokee Fastpitch team in previous years.

Coach Long has been a part of the Tishomingo County School District for many years and wishes to stay apart of this district as a coach and teacher for as long as he can. His true passion is education and coaching to ensure a bright future for generations to come.
