Hindi is taught in some schools in the UK. It is only right that it should be at least an option in Australia.

Australia cannot afford to ignore the official language of a country of more than a billion people which is already one of the fastest growing economies in the world

Hindi is very simple and secular language which is written just as spoken and adjusts many languages of India and even abroad. It is spoken by the majority in India and Indians settled abroad.

Hindi is the second most widely spoken language. Even Harvard has sated that Hinglish would be the business language of the future. Why should Australian students not exposed to this?
