Hind Hamouda who is suffering from schizophrenia was beaten unconscious by two policemen in Calgary, after a phone call she made to 911. Her mother was present and explained to the officers that Hind suffers from mental illness. The officers started yelling at her and one of them pulled off her Hijab (head cover) and forced her to the ground. Hind was kicked and beaten with batons until she was unconscious.
