On June 22, 2020 The Hillsborough County Emergency Policy Group issued an executive order making face coverings MANDATORY when out in public. Prior to this date, wearing a face covering was VOLUNTARY. Except in the City of Tampa that was ordered on June 18 2020.
Healthy people do not need to wear face coverings and should not be discriminated against or humiliated. There are plenty of experts who say face coverings are harmful and restrict breathing.
Here is the enforcement section of the Executive order.
"Business operators found to be violating it would face a second-degree misdemeanor punishable by up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine. Customers will not face any penalty"
This will cause more harm than good for peoples health and will impact the economy by placing another burden on our Small Business owners that is trying to recover from the lock down.

- Germs are trapped near your mouth and nose, increasing risk of infection
- Wearing a face covering causes you to touch your face more frequently
- There is no scientific evidence that supports healthy people wearing face coverings

- Face coverings make it hard for hearing-impaired people to understand you
- Face coverings symbolize suppression of speech

Masks do not block the fine aerosol particles that infect. My blood boils knowing that my tax dollars funded the meeting to decide on this unenforceable mandate - whichever side you're on, a waste of your $.
Please please overturn this decision, this is very difficult for me as a business owner working with kids. We are doing lots of social distancing and disinfecting as it is to keep everyone safe.
There is no science or reliable data to justify this. It is designed to scare people and to pit us against one another, puts WAY to much unfair burden on businesses for enforcement and will only further destroy our local economy and ruin lives. This committee should be ashamed.
I have 4 children that I have with me at all times, and we have been out without masks this whole time. We have been healthy through it all and we are not fearful of getting sick. We do not need to wear masks as we are not contagious or sick. Please listen to the voice of the healthy!
I have copd and asthma, I am unable to breath with a mask on , if those that want to wear them go for it, under hapa law it could get ugly , if they don’t allow me entry them I will leave but I will file a complaint and name the business and Hillsborough Countu thank you June Bizilia
The constitution is NOT suspended during this plandemic or national emergency.
Masks are too dangerous.

We know that the hospitalizations and deaths have not risen and due to more testing being performed, there are higher positive results. I assume all responsibility for my body and health and I respectfully request this mandate be lifted to restore my Constitutional rights!
