The intent of this petition is to encourage the City of Columbus, Department of Public Service, Street Engineering Division to make necessary repairs and resurfacing to Walcutt Road due to the incessant heavy truck traffic that has deteriorated the pavement. This deterioration has made the pavement less safe to drive on, and steering is difficult. Noise levels from the trucks bouncing near the residential subdivisions is deafening. We the residents of Hilliard Meadows Subdivision hereby respectfully request the City of Columbus to take action and make necessary repairs to Walcutt Road soon in efforts to ensure public safety.
