As a Former Student of the school i can safely say this is 95% wrong! I have learnt much from these teachers and they have taught me how be well-mannered and a variety of skills. I never would have found my love for writing without them.

What a misrepresentation about Hill House International School. I simply could not believed it and though it must had been a misprint. My children were extremely happy at HH for the four years they were there.

The difference between the previous Ofsted report and the latest one are so far apart that this cannot represent a balanced view. Hill House does manage to deliver happy children and good results so they must be doing something right. There is always room for improvement, but to give the school such a low rating in every category will destroy its reputation and all the good work they have done along the way. Ofsted clearly has a need to have an independent body inspect their own processes.

My son Henry was at the school a few years ago, and I visited it a few times in that connection. It always seemed to me to be a very caring and responsible place, and all the better, we liked to think, for being a bit different from other schools. I can see why it might not satisfy all the quite proper requirements of the inspectors, but I hope that there can continue to be a context in which different kinds of school can all thrive.

I attended Hill House in the 2000s when Colonel Townend was still with us, and today my little brother is at the school. For both of us, Hill House has been and is an utterly positive learning environment, where our individual interests have been encouraged in a way that would not be possible in a more 'regulated' environment. While I hope the report is acted upon, as the issues raised are important ones, the positives unique to the student experience at Hill House should earn it more than enough good faith to ensure that it remains operational and successful.

As an HH ex teacher, I had three wonderful years working at Hill House. Excellent teachers, children keen to learn and friendly parents. I left to work abroad but if I could have taken the Hill House with me I would have! I still talk about my teaching time there and have such happy memories. I still have teacher friends working at Hill House and they are shocked and disappointed about the report. Their first priorities are the children and they do a wonderful job. As a state school teacher, our focus is constantly on targets and less time is placed on creativity. Hill House sends off happy, well mannered and independent and confident children into the world.

Sent three children to Hill House. They are the successful young adults they are now today because of Hill House!

As a former pupil of the school, I was very proud to be able to send my own two daughters to the school that The Colonel created and ran for so may years. It is his accomplishments and his guidance that has made the school what it is today, even though it may be a school with a different approach it is one where the children are ultimately very happy, well looked after and are inspired to learn , with their safety at

We are very grateful to Hill House for the fabulous job that they do in preparing our child for the outside world. Poor old OFSTED they really should get their own house in order .

The Ofsted report on Hill House is full of inaccuracies and does this excellent school a grave injustice. Our granddaughter has been at the school almost five years and in every area has thrived and benefitted from the outstanding care and attention she has received from the dedicated staff. It is disgraceful that so much needless distress to so many can be caused by just two misguided members of what should be a responsible governement body.

My daughter attended Hill House from reception to year 6. She loved the school and loves it today always attends field day even though she is no longer at the school. Her transition from Hill House to her other school was seamless due to the happy memories, free thinking mentality the school instilled in the students. Her time at Hill House is till the foundation of what she had at the start of her education that she says she would love to send her children there if she can one day. The report seems very unfair and highly prejudicial

Hill House remains to this day, all that is best about Great Britain. Education is more than a slavish adherence to facts, formulae and functionality. Hill House is the very Hallmark of individual achievement, a well rounded upbringing and the academic, cultural and sporting flame that says to the world ; here is the very epitome of British tradition, manners and excellence for which this island nation is so richly celebrated around the world.

My two daughters went to Hill House and had a happy experience. I would say it is one of the best primary schools in London, helping their pupils to grow up as kind, intelligent individuals and preparing them well for the years to come.

I am appalled from the report. My two sons are so happy with their school. I don't think we could have chosen any bet Hill House, you have our full support.
