This report smells of vendetta and so damning that it is unbelievable. The report is not constructive and anyone who reads this will think the writer/inspector has a personal grudge against the school. Whilst I agree there are some general improvements which could benefit the school, it is nowhere near the level that Ofsted states. I have two happy and very well educated children in Hill House who are perplexed as to why there are so many bad things being said about the school. I worry that this report may have fallouts with teachers leaving, students leaving and the chaos will spiral into a deterioration of standards at the school whilst focus on stemming the hemorrhaging. I am astonished reading the report - how could a school which is so ‘inadequate’ do so well with sending students onwards to such prestigious secondary schools. It’s reassuring that parents who have historically let the school get on with their work with the children – are all rallying to make their voices heard in support of Hill House.

I cannot agree more with others - OFSTRD report badly misrepresents Hill House International. I'm prepared to take this matter with a local MP and suppose the school with whatever it takes. This report is a complete nonsense and I beleive the school may be poetically targeted for whatever reason

The most recent report appears to give a better insight into the agenda of OFSTED, or the individual inspectors concerned, than of the school. Hill House consistently turns out, well rounded, happy and successful children. Its exit results stand up to scrutiny against those of other schools. Those are not the characterisitics of an institution failing on every measurable metric. It is clear to me that there are areas where the school good improve, and it serves no purpose to deny that, but any valid criticisms in the OFSTED report have been undermined by the ludicrous decision to judge the school as failing across the board.

I agree with previous comments. Whilst I appreciate that the school may not be perfect in all respects it is a long way away from being inadequate! Since joining my daughter has made progress and new friends, learned so many new things and is a happy child!

my experience of hill house is that it is a wonderful school. the children are happy, secure, polite, kind. they do look look stressed, exhausted and white faced like so many other london children who are pushed and forced along. this is more precious than anything

Hill House is a truly wonderful school. I fully support and respect Hill House and the Townends’ approach, methods and capabilities in running the school. My children have attended Hill house for 3 years now and have blossomed. We have not experienced anything close to the damning comments made by Ofsted, nor do I know of any child that has. The serious allegations set out in the latest Ofsted report are grossly inaccurate, without supporting evidence, and need to be rectified.

My children have been very happy at Hill House. They have grown into confident, polite and social children who have learnt how to behave in different environments and have developped many different fields of interests both academically and outside of school. They are constantly improving educationally and are really enjoying their time at the school with friends and have a good bond with the teachers as demonstrated to us as parents at many occasions during the year. It is therefore surprising to read the comments in the report. Many parents at the school have a choice as to where their children go to school and only want the best for their children and for them to do well in later life. The fact that many parents actively want their children to continue to attend Hill House because they believe in the school's values, approach and results, only underscores that the report is not correctly representing the facts. A second review seems warranted in the circumstances.

I support the ethos and teaching at Hill House and find the OFSTED report a gross misrepresentation. Perhaps the standards and consistency of OFSTED inspection should be audited in light of this.

I have always felt that my children had great teachers and were safe. Every day they are eager to go to school. A fantastic school. I wish some state schools were like this one!

Hill House is a brilliant school. It is the best school I could choose for my children. I can see happy children enjoying being at school. It is very very good school with dedicated staff, always giving a lot of support for the pupils and reciving an excellent result at common entrance, 11plus and 13 plus exams.

Both my children (1 Middle and 1 upper) are happy and doing well. This doesn't concur with this ridiculous Ofsted report.

Something seems not to add up here. There is a large question mark over this latest Ofsted report. I have never had a conversation with any parent or child of the school which reflects these findings. Of course I would be concerned that my wife and I are sending/have sent our children to a failing school its just that in nine years of close association I have not had cause for concern. The opposite is true - its a very happy, successful school.

This wonderful school provides top notch education with thoughtful pastoral care for each and every student. Non-selective at entry, the outcomes speak for themselves. Ofsted has exposed a severe flaw in their systems, not in HH. This needs to be addressed and corrected asap.

This report is completely at odds with the experience we have had at the school, our son has flourished in all areas.

The report is bewildering. How can HH be given scores befitting a sink school when the children are obviously flourishing and achieve results which lead them on to the best schools around? It makes no sense.

Whilst it may be that HH has not complied with the procedural side of Health of Safety requirements, as the mother of a child with a serious medical condition, I have total confidence in their ability to protect my child. In addition the comments about the standard of teaching really do not relfect the reality in any shape or form. The teaching is excellent and so are the teachers.
