This road is a nightmare for everyone who uses it the top bend is the worst as a professional driver it hard for me to keep control sometimes and there is a bus that goes down there so it should be gritted

This road is used by many commuting to work or doing the school run, and MUST be gritted to avoid even more accidents occurring in the future

I now have to drive miles out of my way as i am too afraid of how slippery it is.
Its dark and there is black ice it is too dangerous no gritting of these roads is a death waiting to happen.

Woodgreen Road has always been the same. People drive to fast. And the road has never been finished properly. Especially the first part coming from the Upshire Road.

It's a joke I crashed my car in Avery Rd at 8pm last Thursday . The road was like an ice rink and to rub my nose in it , the gritter lorry arrived as we were exchanging details. We have had temperatures of -4 in the mornings , why does it take them till 8pm to grit the roads !!!

This road is absolutely treacherous as soon as the temperature drops, it becomes a skating rink from one end to the other. It's so dangerous it's only a matter of time before someone loses their life. For many many years I have resorted to driving miles out of my way in bad weather in order to avoid using Woodgreen Road, it's also a bus route and so should be gritted as a matter of course, as should Horseshoe/Crown Hill which is also a death trap. Come on, grit these roads before someone dies....

Re-routing a gritting lorry has to be more cost effective to society than the overall expense of 6 crashes due to avoidable bad road conditions.
