Highway 21/Bruce Road 20 Improvement

I’ve seen too many accidents and near misses at the frightening intersection. Better traffic managent is required.

For sure and the intersection of Bruce road 20 and the B-line needs to have some attention as 7ACRES grows as well. It’s extremely dangerous trying to get on the road even without including the winter weather icing for the road there.

I drive through this intersection everyday to get to Kincardine. Every time I approach it, I hold my breath and have my hand ready on the horn. SOMETHING needs to be done. Ive seen too many accidents and have heard too many close call stories that this cannot be ignored. AND with all the new "city" drivers up here now, who are not use to our winters, this winter Im sure we will see more serious accidents

This intersection should be a roundabout. It would slow traffic and make it possible for all to merge without incident.

Intersection needs a roundabout badly. Have seen two accidents there in the last year, something needs to be done before people get killed there.

People need to use their signals EVERY TIME, exiting hwy. 21 and entering CTY rd. 20! This is a dangerous intersection that needs to be improved; a round about would help with traffic flow and improve safety.

Over the past few years the near misses and volume of traffic have increased at certain points in the day. Making this spot extremely dangerous to cross in the morning hours. I have started taken an alternate route even though it now takes me longer to get to work just to avoid this section in the morning. Anything that could be done to improved traffic flow, lighting or even signage.

Part of my daily drive to work and I strongly feel that this intersection is unsafe, particularly in the winter. I have witnessed many near hits and have to white-knuckle my way through whenever road conditions or visibility is poor. Traffic Lights or a round about would be a good solution.

I have seen accidents occur here for the past 30 years. It’s time for a round about.

This intersection is bad enough on a normal day, but add poor visibility and it’s often life-threatening to cross 21.

the off ramp from highway 21 to county road 20 is to short and there should be a barrier between the highway and off ramp. very bad intersection early mornings

3 accidents in 5 months , 1 hospitalized 1 death when will the people be heard

This is a terrible intersection to cross in the dark. Most of the time you are guessing whether or HWY 21 Southbound vehicles are turning or not. I have witnessed several close calls. Lights or a roundabout are a must before someone gets hurt.

As much as I dislike Round Abouts, this would definitely be the place for one.

I fully support the need for a round about at this road crossing.

There has been several accidents at County Road 20 and 21. It is really hard to tell if people from Port Elgin are merging as they do not use there signals. It would be appreciated to extent the merge lane further back. There is more traffic and its a busy intersection and not everyone has the same driving practices.

Put in an extra long turning lane so people can decipher whether people are actually going to be turning. Easy cheap fix. Or a roundabout.....they slow traffic down and allow continuous movement of all traffic
