I live in this area and it is difficult to get on & off Hwy 20 at times. I'm surprised there aren't even more collisions. A longer exit lane onto N Cascade Rd from Hwy 20 would help.

My cousin was severly injured at this are of road. And many other time I have seen accidents here. At certain times of day it is nearly impossible to cross over traffic. And dispite the mph changes and lights to alert you to these changes, people continue to speed through

Please shut down the Hwy 20 Truck Stop until this problem is solved. Also provide more traffic enforcement in the area.

Put a light in so semis don't pull out in front of people. Reduce speed limit too

This has been an issue from the start. A types of weather cause issues in that area. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE..

All 4 lanes full with people driving home from work in the dark had to quickly come to a full stop as a semi slowly pulled out to the westbound lane tonight. Bad weather or a distracted driver could have created an awful outcome.

I wrote a column on this topic that will appear in the Nov. 20 editions of the Cascade Pioneer and Dyersville Commercial to help spread the word. Read the column at www.cpioneer.com, which also offers State Senator Tod Bowman's email. He is the head of the state transportation committee and he's encouraging everyone to email him with ideas on this as well!
