Block schedule is beneficial. Academic wise we NEED it. That extra time gives us a chance to actually register everything we've learned and we dont have to rush to shove a whole curriculum in, in 50min. Block schedule gives you an extra day to study and get the homework done. With block schedule you don't have to rush to do anything!

block schedule serves as an extremely beneficial method when it comes to dealing with homework, extra curricular activities, etc. Although I'm a senior and will be going to college next school year, i think its important to keep it the way it is to further ensure a better way of learning and also to lessen the stress of the teachers and the students.

Keep Blocked Schedule, Its easier for us to focus on school work instead on having to learn so many different subjects in one day i find that very overwhelming.

As a student who's been privileged to have been in the academy for the past four years, I can honestly say block schedule system is what enriched my academic experience here. The extra time in each period allowed us to have fulfilling internships, science labs, and more time for classroom instruction. And seven periods? I don't think either of these changes are fair to the current academy students who are being blind-sided with these sporadic adjustments. I am thankful for the experience I've had at the academy, but disappointed in the fact that the future classes will not be able to say the same.
