Some people like myself need block schedule to obtain the credits required foe graduation. I believe its a little late in the game to try and change something.

I went to Marshall before Hightower where classes are 45 minutes each and I'll tell you that you do not get the maximum potential out of each learning day. I love block scheduling.

Hightower has been doing just fine with block scheduling for these past years,so why change it now? Block scheduling is what makes our school unique from the others in the district. Changjng our school would be changing our individuality.

Coming to Hightower, the block schedule was something that I was really looking forward to. It's a change and its a lot different than all the other high schools since they don't have block schedule. Not only that, but having the medical academy at Hightower alongside the magnificent internship program, you are given more time to spend in a class. You learn more, do more, and are more active with your learning capabilities. Having 4 classes a day also gives you the luxury of having less stress and focusing more on maintaining higher grades, GPA's, and ranks. It also enables you to focus more on extracurriculars as well as important exams like the SAT and the ACT. Hightower has had the block schedule for a long time running and there have been no problems with it until now for some reason. There will be more trouble changing it and everyone will have a tough time adjusting to it. Keep what has been working perfectly fine for more than 7 years. Don't change the block schedule, change the people who want to change Hightower.

I don't got to Hightower yet but I will be attending as a freshman this upcoming scho year, and I really feel that block schedule is the right thing for students but the main reason is that most kids didn't really like the standard middle school go to seven classes in one day fiasco

has a dancer at Hightower i believe the block schedule is really helpful to us we get more time do to homework and our classes are longer so we are able to get more work done in our dance period and most importantly in the classroom . having block schedule keep us ahead in academics then other schools changing it around this time would affect alot of people credits because some might need that 8th class to graduate . the district has to think about other people than themselves on changing stuff without thinking the pros and con and how many people it cant affect
