This is something that needs to be done. Long overdue.

Reliable internet dictates where telecommuting workers can live (and spend their salaries). Also the ability of students to study and research for class. Help move us forward instead of anchoring us in the past.

Providing high speed internet to rural areas of our state opens up a whole new world to the youth of our state. They deserve the same opportunities at success as urban youth.

It is beneficial to have Internet service everwhere.

This is a huge issue in Mississippi. We live in Forrest County and our internet choices are severely limited, and all of them poor quality. None of the large phone or cable providers are willing to invest in the infrastructure required to provide broadband internet in rural areas.

Century link isn't cutting it anymore. Tired of 40 bucks a months for 1.5 mb.

This bill is so important for rural infrastructure. The co-ops can make a difference in availability of service while keeping rates reasonable for all of MS.

I just moved from a rural area to one I thought would be the same strength in my wireless data but it is slower and at times close to dial up. Both places only have satellite as an Internet option (which is why we use wireless data that has its own set of problems) and that comes with so many problems we will not do it. I can't do much work from home or even consider an at home job. We cannot enjoy netflix or any of the other streaming data. In the middle of Hattiesburg where I work, we do have high speed Internet but it hasn't worked well since we got it. It's through Comcast and it is hard to do get work we need to complete done. That's my story to add to so many others. This is just much needed for so many in this state!

I think it would be a great idea for several different reasons. Kids loves there games so that would help.. ppl love the internet now and use it in several different ways so I would definitely agree with it

I support this bill. It’s the smart thing for us to allow.
