Change MS law to allow electric co-ops to provide high-speed internet.

I have to use my hotspot with Cspire for internet at home and if you know Cspire you never know if you’re going to have service or not. I have to wait till I get to work to download my son’s homework assignment off the web. We need this so badly.

I support Mississippi law allowing rural electric power cooperatives to provide high speed internet to customers.

Bring it on. We've got little to nothing in the way of broadband options in rural McCool.

I definitely support it if it will be good and reliable. There is no such thing for a rural person eith these satellite companies. I've had them all & they promise u speed etc.... all lies. My wife is a school teacher and has alot of paperwork that she has to work.on st home on weekends and good internet is very essential in her being able to do her job.

My children have an educational disadvantage because we cant get decent internet service at our house. Plus our cell phone service is spotty at best so internet service would be a huge help.

Tishomingo County has terrible internet service in the county! This would be a huge boost and give access to better internet county wide.

Rural Mississippi has inadequate infrastructure to provide modern access to high-speed internet. Current providers do not wish to invest in upgrades in the area because it is not profitable. Allow local citizens to provide high-speed internet for themselves via their local electric co-ops!

It’s time to provide internet to rural areas Pelahatchie,Leesbuerg, Morton,Forest just a few places that I know need high speed internet access. How does Rankin county & Scott county expect to complete or educate the kids if att and other providers are not available in the rural areas? Come on let’s make our future bright by putting internet in rural areas!
