Highlands Neighborhood Opposed to Condo Development

I'm not signing. I think this would be a good addition to that neighborhood. Last time I drove thru there, the neighborhood had a hillbilly vibe to it. Particularly the scaled down version which was presented to the city, in early September. I know the area well. My best friend lived in that area back in the 70's when we were in HS.

No condos. This is single family homes, country living in a nature setting. The condos would cause congestion and look out of place in Barrington known for its horse/farm town atmosphere. Don't over crowd our peaceful neighborhood.

You are not alone...the Barrington Village board is planning to let CUSD 220 tear down homes to build a parking lot. They don't care about historic neighborhoods outside of their precious Historic Overlay District.

Zoning and Planning team of Barrington are destroying the visual history of this former farm town. Height restrictions matter. I say NO to this development. Let the developers build it further west on 14.

I respectfully urge the Village to deny the proposed 3 story condominium - planned at the most dangerous intersections in our small neighborhood.
