This petition is set forth by the Homeowners currently residing in The Downs, Thorobred East, Normandy Heights and Woodland Crossing. We, the Homeowners, propose that the Daviess County School Board accept the following Highland Redistricting Proposal: That the present adresses/houses in the Highland district remain in the Highland district, AND that new addresses being developed be assigned to another elementary school. We make this proposal because it will achieve the goal of limiting enrollment at Highland Elementary; preserve family and student relationships with Highland staff; keep present student transportaion routes; maintain the integrity of property values; and the proposal is fair.
