As a local small business owner in Suwannee County, we are in desperate need of good, stable broadband internet. I strongly support SVEC building out a fiber network which would greatly help our community and provide opportunities which aren't currently available due to internet connectivity limitations.

Our Internet service is a constant frustration. We installed Satellite Internet 15 years ago. It was acceptable at first but since the beginning of covid, it is worse than dial up. 2 years ago, I signed up for Starlink. Now, consumers are complaining that Starlink is slow... probably a result of over selling and saturation. Last week, I received an email from Starlink that explained their service for my area is at capacity and will be delayed again to mid 2023... basically the same email I've received from them the last 2 years.
It is shocking to me that our technology is not available to rural areas like it is for our larger cities. Thanks to SVEC for picking up the ball and putting words into action.

No service here, $8000 to out of pocket just to get the infrastructure for less than 25 mgps speed once in place.

We need more vendors supplying high speed internet services in Suwannee County. Competition is good. It will lower prices and increase speed and service.

Our internet is down probably 1/2 of the time, and it’s the only way we can use our cell phones on the property because of little to no cell signal either.
