Dear High School Girls Soccer Coaches, Friends and Soccer Fans,

As many of you are aware, the US Soccer Federation in partnership with US Club Soccer has chartered a new girls DA (Development Academy) League for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.

This league was established by the US Soccer Federation, more commonly known as the USSF in coloration with the US Club Soccer Association to identify, groom and establish the training curriculum for the potential candidates to be identified for the US National Team Player pool.

While the DA initiative on the onset appears to a worthwhile and lofty approach for the US national team success, this initiative simultaneously imposes a ban to be involved High School Soccer for all players who contract with this new DA League.

Not only does this have a highly restrictive benefit for high school soccer athletes, it should also be noted that this has also designed to expand the financial revenue streams for business aspects of club soccer.

If you believe that the USSF should not impose a ban for High School Soccer play fo those desiring to pursue their passion in the sport of soccer, please sign this petition.

I you believe involvement in a High School Sport is a meaningful and positive experience availing the student to have community identification and positive personal developmental opportunities, please sign this petition.

If you believe USSF has exceeded its overreached with its FORCED CONTRACTUAL NO PLAY MANDATE with 14, 15, 16 and 17 year old students, please sign this petition.

If you believe the USSF is overreaching and misrepresenting the viable access along with the indenturing of teenage girls involved in the sport of soccer for financial profit to the club programs, then please sign this petition.

If you believe USSF is literally depriving 99.9% of top athletes of a HS playing experience for the benefit of the .01% who could possibly play on the US National Team, please sign the petition.

If you believe that the holistic approach of High School Sports has a positive and beneficial approach to overall quality of education, health and well-being of those who wish to participate regardless of the ability to pay or viable geographical access, please sign this petition.

We intend to take this petition to the Texas State Legislature in the upcoming sessions, as well as all local and regional governing bodies that represent equal access and community resources that may be engaged in this organization's overreach.
