June 28th, 2009 Governor Sonny Purdue Members of the Georgia Senate Georgia Department of Transportation Brantley County Board of Commissioners Members of the Georgia House of Representatives As citizens of Brantley County, where our families travel the Highway 301/Riverside Rock Road/Caney Bay Rock Road Intersection regularly, that lies in the Southern Part of Brantley County. The history of this intersection continues to increase in a high rate of danger for our community. Decreased visibility from the South has resulted in multiple deaths, life debilitating injuries and the continued risk for our citizens, especially our elderly and our teenagers. We respectively ask that you conduct any and all studies that are required as soon as possible to assure that our citizens will remain safe and that a caution light is placed in this intersection.
