It just makes no sense to take them out of the Bay to put them someplace else because that doesn't solve the problem it makes things worse. The traffic on Flatbush Ave is terrible to begin with and now drunk drivers will be driving after getting off these boats. how many officers are going to be needed to keep the peace here? Terrible move by Mr Mayor to put this where it certainly doesn't belong. You solve the problem for the Bay but now what about the people of Mill Basin, Bergen Beach and Marine Park?? Who do we turn to to get these boats out of our neighborhood like the Bay did? Someone has to stand up for, Us the People, who put you in office.

These boats do not belong in this area, period. Somewhere away from residential areas is where they must go, not here.

Rumor has it that they are going to have a "new home" at the Army Terminal, so why not leave them where they are until their new home is ready, why clean out a space on Flatbush Ave for them to dock at and have cars parked who knows where and add more to the traffic. Also when these people all come off the boats, drunk and high on who knows what, they are going to get into their cars and drive home. How many police officers will be needed to give them breatholizer tests and then give them tickets and bring them to jail, tying up many officers that will be needed elsewhere. Who was the genius who thought about doing this???? Keep those boats where they are and not bring them to Mill Basin/Marine Park, Oh No These Have Got To Go. And not here that's for sure. Lets get all the "elected officials' on board with this and remember their names for the next elections.

These do not belong in residential areas.
Shame on whomever thought moving them from sheepshead (a long time commercial area-only very recently residential) to a long time solely residential area. The residents of sheepshead chose to move there s the boats are there longer than 90% of those residential buildings. Do not move this nonsense traffic to marine park/mill basin.

They DON’T belong in Residential neighborhoods, they should be by the piers in NYC. Party boats do not need to leave at 1100 at night also!

I cannot believe that any community has welcomed this for obvious reasons and to try to pass the buck to another community and make it their headache is an even bigger shame.
