Help us keep the Hershey Music trip!

Dear music parents,

The Board of Education is considering eliminating or cutting back the Hershey Park Music Competition trip to every other year. They are considering re-instating another class trip and are concerned that asking parents to pay for both trips would be too costly. Hershey is the tangible, relevant reward for and a validation of a year of 7 AM rehearsals, lessons and practice. It is a chance to spread one's wings in a safe and controlled environment. It is a great lesson in socialization. And its a lot of fun.

If you agree and would like for your child to have the opportunity to go to Hershey every year, please sign this petition. The petition as well as parental attendance at the August 22nd BOE meeting, will be the most effective ways to ensure that our Crossroads students (and their younger siblings) continue to enjoy this great experience.
