If these plans go ahead with the loss of the health suite, the real question is will Waverley and DC Leisure respond with a reduction in membership and offer refunds or cancellation of membership to those in contract.

I like being able to use the spa with my husband, please don't deny us this opportunity to relax together and chat with others.

I have just read that The Herons will bring in Pay and Display parking in 2014. Just remember Waverley that we do have a choice in which gym facilities we use, and I think you'll be losing valuable customers over the coming months if the Health Suite is downsized, and the parking idea will not help at all.

We love to use the health suite and if it goes to close we may consider going elsewhere

The Health Suite at The Herons is a fantastic asset for members and public, and a huge selling point for potential users.

why is it that whenever OUR council does anything to "support the community"! that the community ends up with less than they had before. Examples the removal of a waste site, the attempted removal of the weekly skip provision which replaced it and the reduction in parking facilities. Now they want to dumn down the one outstanding local facility.

No more convivial place in Haslemere! Why take it away in the new development?

This is an important health and social area in a constantly dwindling health environment. Councils shouldn't make staying healthy so hard.

Not impressed with the proposed changes. It seems to be a commercial decision with no thought being given to those that actually use it.

It ain't broke, so don't fix it. Keep it as it is.

Totally unimpressed with the new plans. Not fit for purpose.

If Waverley want to increase the size of the gym facility then ther will be a greater need for the health suite. Unisex suite would make it cost effective and cheaper to maintain.

The Heron's Health Suite Campaign is now on launching on twitter (@Herons_SOS); She may be tired, old and a bit worn around the edges but many of us celebrate its benefits & the wonderfully diverse Health Suite Community.
