Got to be better than the eyesore it is now. All for encouraging proper street art instead of the mindless 'tagging' of vandals

It's not often an idea comes along where councils can create a resource for the community and add cultural value to an area without spending any money. Saving money even, as cleaning up that grotty underpass must be expensive. That underpass already has boring old murals in it and they get cleaned too but despite all that it's still not a place you want to be. Been that way since I was a kid. With these kind of open walls projects in London, Brighten, and Bristol proven to bring in masses of tourists already, I can't see why Cambridge can't do the same. It's a win for everyone. More than any-one off mural project could be. Kids could even have workshops there in the summer.

Public art spaces have been central to the regeneration of many areas. It makes grey concrete less threatening. I support this petition

What a great idea!
There is gonna be graffiti on the walls down there. Why would you not allow it to be beautiful graffiti art?

Pass through every day when kids go to School and would love to see street art in free creation in the underpath.

I think this would improve this area of Cambridge from a cold sad place to a bright and beautiful place to enjoy.
