Absolutely shocking treatment for an employee , but even more so after 25 years of loyalty

The treatment of Sammy Hayes by Hermes , is totally unacceptable , by anyone’s standards . The fact that Hermes have thus far refused to enter into dialogue with Sammy , breaching their own procedures is nothing more than shocking !!

Shocking treatment of a valued member of staff!

Hermes should be held accountable for the way they have treated Sammy. He should be given his job back as he has been unfairly dismissed. Sammy has been a loyal and dediated employee for many years. He is honest and reliable and he was aware of everyone's routines so you knew you would have no problems with your parcel being delivered if it was Sammy that was bringing. Hermes delivery drivers quite often get bad press for how parcels are treated and the state in which some are delivered (or not) but with Sammy we knew we wouldn't have any problems as he could be relied upon and was a credit to the Company. Do the right thing - look into his appeal and realise Hermes were wrong to dismiss him. He was
