That hospital is a beautiful building where myself and my family were all born. All towns need to have some heritage there for our future family to see where we have come from and see the difference in architecture, there are so many reasons to keep this beautiful building. I remember when I was still at school and there were always ideas being thrown around with what they would do with the hospital but nothing ever happened. It's about time you started making plans and start restoring this building and putting it to use. Save our beautiful Hospital

Why they would be considering knocking down such a lovely old building is beyond me...don't make the same mistake as the Roxy....original old buildings are what gives our country towns their character.

I did my nursing training here during 1963 to 1967 then continued working there until the State Govt purchased the Mercy Hospital Buildings and made that the Cootamundra Hospital.I loved my time in this lovely old building and would hate to lose this impressive facade.

I was born here in 1977, such a wonderful old building, I always walk past here when I am visiting family. My children know I was born here and recognise it when we visit (they are 3 & 4).
Don't let it go to waste like The Roxy.
