Heritage Development Buffers
Due to environmental concerns over the significant loss of acres of tree canopy, natural vegetation and wildlife habitat, we respectfully request that a minimum buffer of 100 feet of existing trees be required between the property lines of all affected property owners and the proposed new development.
The loss of forest environment will have a severe and adverse impact on all the wildlife and will be an irreversible loss to our existing neighborhoods. Requiring a substantial buffer of 100 feet of existing trees between developments will reduce the negative impact on the animals and birds and will preserve a remnant of the forest environment.
We the undersigned are concerned Indian Trail residents who urge our leaders to act now to require a minimum buffer of 100 feet of existing trees between the property lines of all affected property owners and the new development.
