what a joke. doctors are meant to treat people not judge them. what if they start refusing smokers or people who eat too much sugar?
if they start deciding who is 'worthy' of care the whole system is finished. just treat him.
ridiculous. plenty of people do stuff that is bad for health but they still get treated. let him get back to work.
nhs is tax funded so it should be for everyone regardless of what they do for a living. pure discimination.
LEAVE THE MAN ALONE AND FIX HIS THROAT. total disgrace and a waste of tax money if we pick and choose who gets help.

We all pay for the NHS to help us when in need. It is not right to withhold treatment based on a someone's moral perspective! Where do we draw the line otherwise? No treatment for fat people? Withhold treatment for people hurt in danger sports?
